Protecting our Land and Water

October 21, 2020
For decades Islanders have seen the same two parties govern and do nothing to tighten the abuse relative to the protection of our land and water. In 2019 I felt a little relief to see the Greens become the official opposition, thinking that now there might be a voice in the House to push the government to protect our Island’s land and water. How disappointed am I!
This by-election in Charlottetown is a chance for Islanders to have an effective voice in the House with Lynne Thiele running on the NDPPEI ticket. For many years the NDP have been calling for the protection of these two vitally important PEI resources. Please put that voice in the PEI legislature, a voice that is long over due.
