New Democrats are calling on Premier King to pay up for the hundreds of health care workers he is excluding with his $2500 top up.
“Our Island health care workers protected us during the pandemic and the fact that some health care workers are getting top up pay over others is simply wrong,” says Neill. “The Premier should not be able to cherry pick one group of health care workers over another, that’s simply wrong. New Democrats will fight for a better deal for Islanders, including all health care workers.”

and recruitment problems to the system, is appalling. We continue to call on the Premier as we did in the spring, to develop and share a proper plan to address the healthcare issues we are facing on PEI.”says Neill.
