Michelle Neill: We Have More Work To Do To Break the Bias
March 8, 2023
Charlottetown, PEI
“On this International Women’s Day I want to recognize all of the women and gender diverse people on PEI who have paved the way to create a more gender equal world,” says Neill. “This is a day to celebrate how far women have come, but also to acknowledge how much more work we have to do.”
“As this year’s theme is breaking the bias, I truly believe there will be a day where we have a world that is free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination; A world that is diverse, equitable and inclusive; A world where difference is valued and celebrated,” says Neill. “Collectively, a place where we can all embrace equity by breaking the bias; And yes I believe, we can do this on the Island.”
Island New Democrats are committed to ensure that women and gender diverse peoples’ voices are heard and we will fight everyday to make their lives better.
