Robin Enman District 23 - Tyne Valley – Sherbrooke
Robin Enman grew up in Springhill and currently lives in Lot 16. In 2000 he married Andrea Gallant and they have two daughters. Robin graduated from Westisle Composite High School in 1990 and Holland College electronics and computer technology in 1993/94. He has worked at Lennox Island First Nation since 1998 as Recreation and Athletic Director and physical education instructor.
He also teaches at the grassroots level in Miscouche, Elmsdale and Lennox Island. He is an active member of JUDO PEI where he has been Secretary, Vice President and four years as President. Since 2016 he has been the Provincial Head Coach of judo. He recently attained the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) Level 3 competition development.
He attended the Canada Games as a manager twice including this year. He was privileged to attend the North America Indigenous Games in 2017 as the Badminton coach.
Growing up in rural PEI he developed a work ethic and a deep sense of community. District. Robin believes that people should always come first. He thinks that Islanders are entitled to the same quality of life across the province and that only by investing in the needs of all our citizens can we raise the standard of living on Prince Edward Island.
His goal in running as an NDP candidate is to provide an attentive ear and be a voice for the District. He believes that “people should always come first.”
