Candidate in District 6

Congratulations to Lynne Thiele in District 6 on winning the candidacy!

Saying ‘yes’ to the leader Joe Byrne, Lynne offered to run in District 6, Stratford- Keppoch. “I must walk the walk if I talk the talk.”

Lynne is a retired educator with a Masters in Educational Leadership. She currently lives in Stratford after moving here from Saskatchewan. Having served on many committees for the New Democratic Party of Prince Edward Island and involvement in social justice, she believes in Joe Byrne’s motto, “An Island for the many not the few.”

Her vision for District 6 includes the building of a school campus so children can be taught within their own community, giving them a sense of belonging and ownership.

She is committed to involving more women in politics and is a key organizer.
