Joe Byrne Set to Run For Island New Democrats

New Democrat Leader Michelle Neill announced earlier today that former federal NDP candidate and former Leader of the Island New Democrats will run in the 2023 election in District 12 – Charlottetown-Victoria Park.

“Joe is someone who has devoted his entire life to better the lives of everyone around him,” says Neill. “Joe understands that our province can be a better place to live, work, play and do business. He also know that the status quo is not enough.”

“My job is to make the world a better place and I believe the PEI NDP is the best party to achieve that for Islanders,” says Byrne. “Islanders have a choice in this election in voting for Michelle Neill, someone who will fight for a better deal for everyday people. Michelle shares my values and I can’t wait to continue to work with her.”
