Another Candidate: District 9

Congratulations! Gordon Gay wins the candidacy in District 9, Charlottetown-Hillsborough Park.

Mr. Gay is a custodian at Charlottetown Rural School. He is past president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 1775. Over the years he has been a volunteer coach for youth recreational soccer. Gordon has also been a volunteer at CHANCES, and the Charlottetown Food Bank.

Gordon Gay ran for the Island New Democrats in District 9, York-Oyster Bed in the 2015 provincial election.

Gordon is very interested in the many issues facing the people of Charlottetown-Hillsborough Park, including the cost of tuition fees and student debt. Mr. Gay states, “I am very happy with the work Joe Byrne is doing for Islanders, and I want to be part of his team”.
